Santa for A Day | Experience that will Last a Lifetime

When Early Work Experience student Paden learned that special guests from Straub Construction were coming to visit our Downtown Weston Market, he knew exactly what to do. He’d dress up as Santa Clause to greet them. In his bright red suit, black boots and white beard Paden was missing just one thing – a bell to ring. With no bell onsite, our staff quickly improvised giving Paden two large metal measuring cups to use. With measuring cups in hand, Paden stood outside our storefront happily greeting our special guests and customers.

It’s no surprise that Paden was full of Christmas spirit. For nearly four weeks, Paden and his fellow Early Work Experience participants curated 100 gift boxes for Straub Construction customer appreciation gifts. Each box was filled with Farmer’s House favorites including Farmer-Made products.

Paden, and everyone at The Farmer’s House, was thrilled to see how happy Straub team members were with their gift boxes. We’re grateful to Straub Construction for the opportunity. The boxes were put together with care and provided meaningful retail vocational experiences for Paden and his fellow students. A great example of the Power of Community.

Ho, Ho, Ho and Merry Christmas from Paden and the entire Farmer’s House family. Please remember to leave some Farmer-Made cookies out for Santa and, if you don’t have a bell to ring, two measuring cups work just fine!
